Day-2

DAY 2: -

I was running out of words & ideas & didn’t know what to post on my blog. (As previously the topic was “blog” itself.) Finally, after many hours of thinking, I decided to write on my favorite fictional character “Harry Potter”. In the mean while, I also came across the book “Stories of Prophets”. (Sounds funny, but because I read a lot, I come across all sorts of books). I felt I could compare certain instances from both the books:
For example:

FICTION
(from books on “Harry Potter”- By J K Rowling )
FACTS
(from the Book “Stories of Prophets”- By Rashad Ahmad Azami)
In Harry Potter 3, Harry Potter& Hermione Granger travel on Buckbeak (the huge flying creature) to rescue Sirius Black.
Prophet Muhammad-PBUH was Taken to the heavens on The Buraq (a white flying animal resembling the horse & the mule).
In Harry Potter 2, Harry could speak to & understand the language of snakes i.e Parseltongue.
Prophet Solomon was granted the ability to understand the language of birds & insects.

Here is a small quiz, & the last one for this posting :
Try to answer them & please feel free to discuss or comment on anything here.

The following are the miracles that some of the Prophets of God were able to perform, you have to guess who they were:

- The Prophet who was thrown into the fire but came out of it safe & sound.
- The Prophet who was swallowed by a whale but came out of it alive.
- The Prophet who could turn his staff into a snake.
- The Prophet who could breathe life into a figure of a bird & heal those born blind & lepers.
- The Prophet who could interpret the true meaning of dreams.

Miracles that were performed by the Prophets of God were signs from God so that people would become believers. Neither human logic nor reason can be applied to explain such miracles.

Day-1

Since the college started 3 weeks ago, I had been really excited & in all the excitement I forgot to make my usual diary entry. Last week when we were assigned to make a blog of our own, I felt happy as I could post my diary entry to the blog & hence resume my original habit.

DAY 1: -

Today we were assigned to create a blog of our own, post it & receive comments from peers & family. Well at first, I was kind of disappointed. The disappointment story goes like this:
When the instructor entered the class & made the announcement about the assignment, I felt happy but when she said that we actually had to create a blog, I got really put down, embarrassed & disappointed. Because I did not understand what it meant- whether block or bloke or what? - I was hearing this word for the first time as I did not get enough time during my high school days to surf the net. Some time later, our instructor gave an explanation about this blog & I felt relieved. Any ways, I am bored of writing this. You might also be suffering boredom- But please don’t close this-Because now it’s going to be interesting & fun.

Why don’t you try this small quiz that will test your knowledge about blogs & post the answers & comments if any, regarding it.

What do you think a blog is?
How or why do you think was this invented?
Do you know anything, or at least, the name of the most popular blog ever?
What, in your opinion, are the consequences of blogs?

Try answering the above questions & if you don’t know or if you aren’t sure about something, I will be more than happy to discuss them with you.
